General English
Communicative teaching methods and a friendly international environment make learning English at Charmisnter UK School of English a pleasurable and enriching experience.
You take a placement test on arrival to assess your ability in English and are then placed in the appropriate class.
General English classes then introduce the main grammatical concepts used in everyday communication such as structure, syntax, vocabulary and pronunciation. The focus is on English for spoken communication, however all skills are taught.
You work to familiarise yourself with colloquial and standard English and how to use it in everyday situations such as in the home, in the bank, whilst shopping, eating out or on the telephone.
Standard Course (£110.00 per week)
15 hours/week
Three hours each day covering all skills areas.
Intensive Course (£140.00 per week)
21 hours/week
An extra two 3 hour workshops each week two workshops per week focusing on a specific area of language.
Essential Information
Age: 18+
Hours: 15 or 21 hours per week
Each 3 hour block of learning includes a 15 minute break
Levels: Elementary to Advanced. Beginners are accepted on the first Monday of the month
Course Length: 1 to 50 weeks
Max Class Size: 10 students
Start Dates: Any Monday
